The Invitation of the Youth Commission

Disconnecting the people from their past, roots and history, consciously or unconsciously commenting on the experienced events  in a wrong way  or distorting the truth can all be accepted as the most significant misfortune that people live. In the name of offical history, based on the documents and papers, considering the experienced events in its own view , commenting wrongly on these events, acquiting itself among the international area by distorting the truth are the ways that some groups, institutions or states enforce in order to legalise their sovereignty today.
              As a matter of fact, by looking at the terms like; “The 450th Anniversary of the Voluntary Participation of Caucasus to Russia” and  “ The Olympics” which is decided to be held in Soçi (Saşe), it can be seen that the Russian Federation is included in this description above. The Russian Federation is trying to reshape its image in the international area and also trying to avoid to be faced with  the historical misfortune it caused by reflecting the history and events in a different and wrong way.
              As there is no other explanation of defining the history of the first diplomatic relationship “The First Contact” as “Voluntary Participation”, it can be understood that Russia wants to reflect its unjust, cruel and inhuman policy that has been lasting for 450 years on Caucasus only as its internal problem and also the people of this region as its own people to the world. We are the people living in dispersion after being sent into exile after losing of the fight of Caucasian freedom and independence, and we are the most significant proof against the fake claim of Russia.
              Discussing the reality, or even mentioning this claim of Russia means ignoring the dignified struggle that has been going on for 150 years,  ignoring our ancestors who has died for the independence of Caucasus and also ignoring people who were sent into exile in inhuman conditions and unfortunately died during this exile. It means acquiting the Czardom Russia that caused us live the most tragic events in our history. It must not be forgotten that million of rubles are not enough to change the history, the historians knowing and writing the realities will continue to clarify the truth to the new generations despite the policies of the state.
                Russia has killed and terrorized many people with the aim of constituting Caucasus without Caucasians. By this way, there is a contrast between the spirit of sport, peace, brothership of Oliympic Games and this policy. By holding “Olympic Games” in Ubıh land (Kabaada) whose historical importance cannot be denied, the historical and ecological feature of this region will also be harmed. The Olympic Games will be held in a historical Ubıh city, Soçi (Saşe) where almost everyone was massacred  or sent into exile to Otoman in 1864. The meaning and symbolization of Olympic Games is stopping the wars and skirmish, realizing brotherhood and peace. There is a real contrast between this meaning and historical misfortunes lived in this region where Russian is trying to hold this Olympics organization. Furthermore, there is a real contradiction between the focusing of Olympic Games on brotherhood, peace and Russia’s oppressive, centralist and intolerant administration.
                 If these attemps seen as a small detail realize, Russia will manage to make the new generations suspicious and cause people to comment on the events and history in a wrong way, and in some way reshape the history and events due to its demands.
                  We strongly believe that all the Caucasians should join and do whatever they can for the campaign against the attemps of Russia to distort the historical realities.
